Project Memory

Use pnpm mem:create --project when a finding should remain useful beyond the current work unit. The option sets the node lifecycle to project and omits both wu_id and session_id, even when mem:create runs with an authenticated caller.

pnpm mem:create --title "Repository-wide architecture finding" \
--type discovery --project --tags architecture --priority P2

Without --project, caller attribution works as usual: an authenticated process contributes its own WU and session when the command does not receive explicit attribution. The node type also keeps its current default lifecycle; for example, a discovery remains WU-scoped. Project scope is a per-node lifecycle choice, not a change to caller identity or command authority.

--project cannot be combined with --wu or --session. LumenFlow rejects those combinations before appending a node, including when an attribution flag was supplied with an empty value.

Project lifecycle does not by itself make a node available on another machine. Memory remains local by default; a workspace may separately configure memory sync or commit distribution. See the Memory Layer for storage and distribution details, and the mem:create reference for all command options.
